Requirements

Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work at heights (up to 30 feet) and in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, basements)
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
Comfortable using hand tools and performing technical installation work
Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and fiber connections

Nice To Haves

Experience with fiber optic installations, including fusion splicing and testing
Familiarity with bucket trucks and aerial work
Fiber optic and/or OSHA 10 certification
Experience upselling or recommending services to customers

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain fiber optic services and customer premise equipment (CPE)
Deliver a best-in-class customer experience -educating customers, addressing questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Troubleshoot and resolve service and equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance
Perform work safely in a variety of environments, including heights (up to 30 feet), confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
Use hand tools, fiber tools, and testing equipment to complete installations and repairs
Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that meet customer needs
Accurately complete service documentation, installation checklists, and reporting
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
