The Fiber Splicer is responsible for installing, splicing, testing, and repairing fiber optic cables used in telecommunications networks. This role includes preparing fiber cables, performing fusion and mechanical splicing, testing and troubleshooting network connections, and maintaining accurate records of work completed. The Fiber Splicer works in both indoor and outdoor environments, follows safety regulations, and collaborates with field technicians and project teams to ensure reliable network performance and service delivery.
