About The Position
Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add multiple Fiber Optic Splicers to the team in Ashburn, VA. This is a contract role with potential for extensions, focused on growing and maintaining a major data center. The role involves high-density ribbon splicing, installation, testing, and documentation of high-count fiber trunks.
Requirements
- High-density ribbon splicing (12-strand)
- Installation, dressing, and securing of high-count fiber trunks
- Frame and rack splicing
- EXFO OTDR and OLTS testing
- High-volume labeling and documentation
- Familiarity with cable tray systems and MaxCell pathways
- Drug & Background required

- 16-strand experience
