About The Position

This position performs in-premise fiber, Ethernet, and electronic installs in residential and commercial buildings, installs, maintains and removes fiber optic drops on premise location as well as trains and educates customers on how to fully utilize internet connected equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One or more years of experience performing in-premise telecommunications installation and troubleshooting in-premise equipment and services.
• Skills and ability to splice any type of fiber cable to industry standard quality.
• Ability to effectively operate all fiber optic testing, troubleshooting, and locating equipment.
• Must live within or be willing to relocate to live within 25 miles per Google Maps to the office.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-premise fiber, Ethernet, and electronic installs in residential and commercial buildings.
• Installs, maintains, and removes fiber optic drops on premise locations.
• Trains and educates customers on how to fully utilize internet connected equipment.
• Responds immediately to 24-hour call-out.
• Works overtime as needed, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
