About The Position

The FI Int Rate Sales Associate will provide analytical and sales support for senior interest rate derivative marketers. This role will work directly with end-user clients to determine the most appropriate and advantageous loan and swap structures unique to multiple lines of business (owner occupied RE, investment RE, C&I).

Requirements

Have initiative and self-direction when performing tasks, with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
Able to handle large workload that varies based on projects and heavy volume periods.
Ability to learn a general understanding of rules/regulations and policies that pertain to the department.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
1+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Custom modeling and pricing, including but not limited to, swaps, swaptions, caps, collars, and floors.
Lead loan documentation review and work with both bank and client counsels to ensure proper language, structure, and cross-collateralization.
Provide Bankers and bank clients with economic/market input.
Follow up with bankers when the derivative marketers are traveling.
Involved in syndicated transactions with several banks.
Provide live over the phone rate quotes to bankers as well as maximum exposure and revenue estimates.
Execute swaps with both end-user bank clients and swap dealers, ensuring identical structuring, and accurate and fair pricing.
