As a FF/EMT, Paramedic Only, or FF/Paramedic, you will: perform all tasks associated with basic firefighting, driving and operating emergency vehicles which include carrying hose and connecting to water supplies; setting up and climbing ladders; knowledge of fire pumps, fire service hydraulics, safe driving practices, pump operations, applying water and chemical streams; ventilating buildings; participating in salvage operations; performing rescue duties on the fire ground and accident scene. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.
- Must be a certified EMT or a certified or licensed Paramedic from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
- Have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.

Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks associated with basic firefighting, driving and operating emergency vehicles which include carrying hose and connecting to water supplies
