About The Position
Levy is seeking a Festival Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role involves adhering to liquor regulations, setting up bars, stocking beverages and supplies, preparing garnishes, greeting guests, taking and processing drink orders, checking identification, managing guest inebriation, handling cash transactions, securing the bar, performing cleaning tasks, and maintaining an attractive bar display. Levy is a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country.
Requirements
- Must be able to adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
- Must be able to stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
- Must be able to prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables.
- Must be able to greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
- Must be able to take and/or process orders for drinks.
- Must be able to mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes.
- Must be able to practice prudent portion control.
- Must be able to check guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Must be able to detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
- Must be able to receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
- Must be able to lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secure bank.
- Must be able to perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Must be able to keep work area clean and organized.
- Must be able to arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
- Must be able to wash and sterilize stemware.

Responsibilities
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
- Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
- Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
- Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
- Washes and sterilizes stemware.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
