About The Position
The Fertilizer and Inventory Specialist manages product shipments and transfers between branches and the distribution center while supporting all aspects of customer service, including product selection, order processing, and inventory management. Knowledge of fertilizer compatibility, chemical blending, and agronomic products is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; fluent in English.
- Strong math, computer (MS Office), and organizational skills.
- Solid safety compliance record.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of fertilizer blending, compatibility, and DOT regulations preferred.
- Experience with AgVance and Fleetworthy/Comply is a plus.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Process customer, sales, and branch orders accurately and on time.
- Coordinate shipments and transfers with trucking companies and internal teams.
- Track inventory and conduct physical counts of bulk storage areas.
- Operate truck scales, complete bills of lading, and handle hazardous materials documentation.
- Provide backup support for dispatch and reception as needed.
- Maintain a professional image in all interactions and communications.
