The FERC/RTO Affairs Associate role is responsible for monitoring, compiling, analyzing, and reporting on information from PJM concerning the Company. This role will work closely and interface with their counterpart focusing on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and will be required to understand and occasionally report out on proceedings before FERC. In addition, the position will build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization while ensuring that the policies and procedures of the Company are maintained. The FERC/RTO Affairs Associate is responsible for monitoring and analyzing policy and proposal developments at PJM to support the development of regulatory strategy and advocacy. This role involves: Being the primary communicator to internal stakeholders on developments at PJM. Supporting engagement with the PJM stakeholder holder process and liaising with industry stakeholders. Supporting the development of strategies for regulatory compliance and advocacy at FERC and PJM. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, regulatory affairs, transmission planning, markets, treasury and operations to support the development of regulatory strategy and compliance with FERC and PJM mandates and requirements. The FERC/RTO Affairs Associate’s decisions influence regulatory strategy development and strategic positioning in at PJM. Key impacts include: Shaping the company’s participation at PJM, including transmission planning and regional markets, which affects financial outcomes, rate structures, and service reliability. Contributing to policy advocacy that aligns with the company’s long-term business objectives, potentially influencing PJM rule development.
