Requirements
- Previous experience with or ability to learn effective Installation skills and techniques.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating equipment (loader, bobcat, skid steer, or other used in landscape installation) is helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of fence material is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform labor and tasks necessary for the installation of chain link, wood, ornamental and vinyl fences.
- Assist other Installers and Crew Foreman with the transformation of design plans into quality fences meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Assist in the daily preparation of trucks and equipment, ensuring proper loading and securing of materials.
- Perform all aspects of fence installation, including removal of old fencing, ground preparation, trench digging, concrete mixing, and positioning fence elements.
- Safely operate air pounders, post hole diggers, saws, and other hand tools required for fence installation.
- May operate a company vehicle to and from job sites as needed.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, coworkers, and sales staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to optimize service and productivity.
- Effectively communicate with coworkers, customers, delivery drivers, and sales staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in a safe and responsible manner.
- Assist with snow removal during the winter months as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
