About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable female caregiver to assist a hospice client in Wimberley, TX. The client is mostly in bed/recliner, uses a walker (not accessible in bathroom), and requires hands-on assistance with daily care. This role involves working alongside the client's husband, who is the primary caregiver. You will enter through the back gate and must ensure it is securely latched due to dogs on the property. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference by providing comfort and support to a client and her family.

Requirements

• Reliable, patient, and compassionate
• COVID vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated)
• Current driver’s license or state identification
• Reliable transportation to travel to assignments
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and be competent to perform tasks assigned by Supervisor or Scheduler
• Willing to work at least 8 hours per week (can be multiple short shifts)
• Agree to and pass a criminal history check, an Employee Misconduct Registry check and 3 year driving record

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hospice or personal care preferred
• CNA license or CMA license is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers, mobility, and fall prevention
• Reposition client every 2–3 hours
• Provide toileting assistance and manage briefs
