About The Position

Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll is a large, diversified plaintiff-side litigation firm with over 100 attorneys across eight U.S. offices. The firm champions the causes of workers, consumers, small business owners, investors, and whistleblowers, aiming to achieve corporate reforms and fair markets for the public good. With nearly 50 years of experience, Cohen Milstein attorneys hold powerful entities accountable for misconduct through complex class action litigation, seeking to help numerous plaintiffs with similar claims simultaneously and drive industry-level change. Fellows will work closely with attorneys on high-stakes class action and impact litigation across all practice areas. They will be involved in all aspects of the firm's work, including case investigation, drafting pleadings, legal research, discovery, and collaboration with other leading firms and organizations. The Fellowship is a one-year commitment.

Requirements

  • Recent law graduates, including judicial clerks and fellows
  • Current law students with an anticipated graduation date in May 2027 or sooner
  • Share a commitment to performing the highest quality legal work to advance the public good
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Superior analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively
  • Must be able to commit to one year of service
  • As of the start date of the Fellowship, must be admitted to the bar of a state, territory, or district of the United States, or awaiting exam results or admission after taking a bar exam.
