About The Position

The Fellowship Program at Culver Academies, established in 1983, offers a rich experience for recent college graduates interested in exploring various career opportunities at an independent boarding school. While the program primarily focuses on those interested in teaching, it also provides Fellowships in areas such as wellness, communications, technology, and athletics. This program serves as an apprenticeship, equipping individuals with the knowledge and experience necessary for successful careers in independent secondary schools, as well as valuable work experience for dynamic young adults pursuing opportunities outside the educational field. Culver Fellows are fully integrated into the life of the Academies, guided by mentor teachers, counselors, and coaches who help them learn teaching and coaching methodologies, classroom management, group dynamics, and parent/student relationships. In addition to their academic field, Fellows contribute to extracurricular activities, supporting student athletic teams or the Fine Arts program.
