The Department of Ecology is hiring a Fees & Reporting Unit Supervisor (WMS1) within the Hazardous Waste and Toxics Reduction Program (HWTR). This position is open only to current Department of Ecology employees, including those on temporary or project assignments, and Ecology's Washington Conservation Corps members. The role provides an opportunity to lead Ecology’s statewide systems for dangerous waste reporting, EPCRA Tier II reporting, and hazardous waste and pollution prevention fee collection. The supervisor will lead a team that manages high-volume regulatory data, supports thousands of businesses and government partners, and ensures compliance with state and federal requirements. This role will guide data quality, operational improvements, and system development while contributing to section-level planning and program strategy that advances HWTR’s mission. The position is located at the Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA, and is eligible for telework with a minimum of one day per week required in the office. The application deadline is August 25, 2026.
