About The Position

The Feed Mill Receiving Team Member is responsible for unloading incoming materials, transferring ingredients to grinding and batching bins, inspecting incoming material for condition and quality, ensuring proper direction of received products, and completing appropriate paperwork and reports. This role also includes performing other relevant tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift required
• Knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment and operations required

• Forklift certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials
• Transfer ingredients to grinding and batching bins
• Inspect incoming material, verifying condition and quality of product
• Ensure received products are directed to proper bins, tanks, etc.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
• Perform all other relevant tasks to the job
