About The Position

This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems specific to the hatchery, performing preventative maintenance, and general building maintenance. The technician will also be responsible for completing paperwork, writing requisitions for necessary parts and tools, and leading maintenance work on their assigned shift. All relevant duties as assigned will also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools of all types.
• Pneumatic experience.
• Electrical experience (use of volt meters and amp meters).

Nice To Haves

• Welding/fabrication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair any equipment and systems specific to the hatchery.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Complete and maintain maintenance/repair paperwork.
• Responsible for cleanup and housekeeping duties as assigned or as needed.
• General maintenance on the building where needed.
• Write up requisitions for tools, parts, equipment, etc. that are needed to complete a particular project.
• Lead in all maintenance work on assigned shift.
• Perform all maintenance levels in the hatchery.
• All other relevant duties as assigned.
