About The Position

The Feed Mill Laborer operates the mill to blend ingredients and produce feed according to current needs. The role includes inspecting incoming ingredients, monitoring product quality and production schedules, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper storage conditions. The laborer also bags feed, loads customers, helps maintain a clean and organized property, and assists employees in the office or warehouse as needed. The position requires stooping while bagging, lifting at least 50 pounds, and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize feed production based on needs.
• Inspect received ingredients for quality.
• Monitor product quality and production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mill equipment.
• Clean in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Operate the mill to blend ingredients as needed.
• Monitor storage conditions to prevent spoilage or insect infestations.
