Over the course of 10-12 weeks, as a Feed Mill Intern, you'll work in one of the Midwest Feed Mill facilities located in Ozark, AR, Yellville, AR, or Sherwin, KS. As a Feed Mill Intern, you'll learn how feed is manufactured and delivered to support turkey production. You'll gain hands-on exposure to feed mill operations, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement while working alongside experienced leaders and team members. The program’s primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development and a series of assignments that align with professional interest within the processing and manufacturing industry.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2028 through June 2029.
- Ability to work in a feed mill environment, including exposure to dust, varying temperatures, noise, and heights.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

Responsibilities
- Learn the day-to-day operations of a feed mill, including feed manufacturing and ingredient management.
- Partner with mill leaders and team members to support production, maintenance, and safety initiatives.
- Assist with projects focused on process improvement, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze operational data and present project findings and recommendations to leadership.
