About The Position

The Feed Mill Driver/Operator performs product deliveries to customers in accordance with Herbruck's quality standards. The role includes transporting products, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining trucks and other equipment, keeping inventory records, and completing required training. The position is scheduled for first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional weekends. The role does not involve routine contact with birds, pigs, or cattle.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid Class A CDL driver's license.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule as assigned.
Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Must not be afraid of heights.
Feed Mill experience.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 pounds continuously throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Keep trucks clean and in working order.
Transport products to customers.
Perform preventative maintenance and keep records on all equipment.
Load and unload trucks.
Keep track of inventory.
Maintain required training.
Follow company safety rules, report safety concerns to a supervisor, and use proper PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned.
