About The Position

The Feed Mill Dispatcher is responsible for receiving, processing, and documenting feed orders, scheduling feed loads, and dispatching feed loads to drivers. This role requires effective communication with Service Technicians, Growers, Operations, Customers, and Vendors, as well as maintaining good housekeeping and safety standards. The position involves working in various environmental conditions and performing physical tasks.

Requirements

Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, and follow instructions.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Must have 6 months of work history in the last 12 months documented within the application's work history and/or resume.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Lift up to 60 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Stand, sit, walk, climb ladders/stairs, and sustain physical activity throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of transportation scheduling and DOT compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and write effectively to receive, process, and document feed orders.
Schedule feed loads by creating, organizing, and maintaining feed tickets for accurate recordkeeping.
Dispatch feed loads and distribute work evenly among drivers while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
Answer calls from Service Technicians and Growers and maintain positive working relationships.
Organize daily tasks, adjust priorities, and respond to changing operational needs.
Communicate effectively with Operations, Customers, and Vendors both verbally and in writing.
Maintain good housekeeping standards in work and service areas.
Follow all Tyson Health, Safety, and Biosecurity requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
