FEDEX P&D DRIVER- Huntsville
About The Position
Sandbox Logistics Inc. is growing in the Madison/Huntsville area, and we’re looking for reliable, motivated, safety-focused drivers who are ready to work, earn consistent weekly pay, and become part of a strong team. As a FedEx Ground Pickup & Delivery Driver, you’ll operate a company-provided FedEx-branded vehicle while delivering and picking up packages for residential and business customers throughout the local area. No CDL is required. Paid training is provided. This is a great opportunity for experienced delivery drivers, box-truck drivers, step-van drivers, and other qualified commercial driving professionals looking for a stable full-time position with room to grow.
Requirements
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have 12 months of verifiable driving experience within the past 3 years OR 5 years of experience within the past 10 years in a box truck, step van, delivery vehicle, or similar vehicle
- Have an acceptable driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years
- Be able to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Be able to safely handle packages weighing up to 150 lbs. using a dolly or team assistance
- Be reliable, punctual, professional, and customer-service focused
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a FedEx Ground-branded step van, box truck, or similar delivery vehicle
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load, scan, deliver, and pick up packages along an assigned route
- Use a company-provided scanner and delivery technology
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Meet FedEx Ground service and delivery standards
- Follow all DOT, FedEx Ground, terminal, and company safety requirements
- Keep your assigned vehicle clean and immediately report maintenance or safety concerns
- Work independently while staying connected with the operations team
