About The Position

The federal work-study program (FWSP) enables eligible students to be employed by OSU-OKC either on or off campus. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to work part-time to help meet the costs of their post-secondary education. Rate of Pay: $10.50 an hour on-campus; $11.00 an hour for Community Service; and $12.00 an hour for Community Service tutoring positions. Students may work up to 20 hours per week depending on individual eligibility, which is determined through the Financial Aid office. Four reasons why Federal Work Study is the way to earn money: 1. Job responsibilities will vary with each position. Positions will involve contact with students, staff, faculty and local community agencies. Positions Available on Campus are $10.50 per hour. Community Service Positions Available off Campus are $11.00 per hour. Community Service Literacy Program $12.00 per hour. Requirements

Must be eligible for Federal Work Study funding from the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships at OSU-Oklahoma City.
Must be a current student at Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City campus.
Must be able to work flexible hours to include some nights and weekends.
Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone, via email, and various communication platforms.
Duties require extended periods of sitting, talking and listening.
Duties require extensive use of computers, telephone and other office equipment.
Requires possible lifting of up to 25 lbs.
