About The Position
Georgia Military College is seeking to hire current students to participate in our Federal Work Study Program at all of our campus locations! FWS is a need-based program. If you are deemed eligible for participation in the FWS Program, please note that receiving any sort of student loan (or other form of Financial Aid not initially calculated in your file) after the initial award amount and/or eligibility has been determined by Financial Aid, your eligibility for participation in the FWS Program could potentially change, even if you are already working under the Program. This could mean an increase or decrease of aid award, or being deemed ineligible to participate in the FWS program. If you have questions about this, please contact your Campus Financial Aid office for clarification. Completion of application and/or approved eligibility does not guarantee placement in a FWS position. Students MUST pass a Background Screen before being officially hired.
Requirements
- Students MUST have completed a financial aid file
- Students MUST have need as determined by FAFSA
- Students MUST be in "good" standing status according to GMC's Satisfactory Academic Policy
- Students MUST have a High School Diploma/GED
- Students MUST pass a Background Screen before being officially hired
