About The Position
Work-Study positions are federally funded, part-time positions. Each position will have a specific set of responsibilities that will be explained during the interview process. We are excited to offer an on-campus job position for college students! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experiences while balancing your academic commitments. We're seeking motivated students who are eager to join the Ivy Tech team!
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester.
- Students must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
- Students must have a current and completed FAFSA on file.
- Student must demonstrate financial need.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing procedures for the library.
- Checking in and checking library materials.
- Registering library users.
- Observing Circulation Desk protocol.
- Becoming familiar with the library’s web pages and resources.
- Becoming familiar with Just In Time accounts and procedures.
- Learning how to use the electronic pay system, Adobe Sign/EchoSign.
