About The Position

This role is responsible for driving revenue across HP's full portfolio (personal computing, printing, collaboration, edge & hybrid computing, services, and solutions). The Federal Systems Integrator Account Manager (FSI) will be responsible for both "sell-to" (internal IT needs) and "sell-through" (program business where the US Federal Government is the end-user. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the FSI market and directly working with federal agencies and departments. This role will be focused on acquisition of new business, along with growing existing relationships to grow HP share.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • 7-10+ years of work experience in customer-facing sales function.
  • Preferably within federal market, ideally with FSI market experience.
  • HP portfolio familiarity (or competitive) is an advantage.
  • MS Office Suite including Teams
  • MS Dynamics (or similar)
  • Customer Advocacy
  • Teaming across broad internal teams
  • Partnering closely with inside sales peer
  • Customer presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Delivers sales quota commitments across all metrics during each period of performance.
  • Demonstrates an advanced level of subject matter expertise and employs consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities.
  • Builds strong relationships across the customer organization, including engaging at C-level and mapping the HP executive team in meaningful ways.
  • Engages strategically with partners as part of the federal ecosystem, developing value-based relationships in joint go-to-market strategies where that drives advantage.
  • Manages CRM platform - enters and maintains quality data across all opportunities, from early sales-stage through closing and deployment. Will develop a full working knowledge of the CRM tool, leveraging it weekly to update and add per opportunity progression.
  • Conducts regular strategic business reviews with key clients, assessing their long-term goals, gathering feedback, and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
