About The Position

We are seeking a Federal Project Manager with an active TS/SCI clearance to manage the delivery of large-scale inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure projects in secure federal environments across the Washington, DC Metro area. This role is responsible for overseeing detailed site surveys, engineering new solutions, and managing the transition from discovery through implementation, with a strong focus on onsite leadership, issue resolution, and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Active, verifiable Top Secret / SCI clearance.
  • 5-7 years in a project management role with 3-5 years supporting telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, and OSP/ISP design and delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers, project leads, and subcontractors.
  • Must currently have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or above.
  • CI Polygraph eligibility or willingness preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with interpreting engineering designs, GIS maps, splicing matrices, and construction drawings.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Familiarity with DOW, USACE, or DISA standards.
  • Familiarity with Federal and ICD standards in classified settings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, monitor execution, and provide status to key stakeholders ensuring all activities align with project goals and security requirements.
  • Proactively identify, track, and communicate technical and logistical issues as they arise onsite, leading remediation efforts to sustain project momentum and ensure delivery quality.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, project leads, and subcontractors. Facilitate knowledge transfer, status updates, and issue escalation as needed.
  • Manage and review all site‑survey deliverables to ensure accurate documentation of existing infrastructure, rack capacity, and cabling, and assess findings to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement ahead of design and implementation.
  • Lead the seamless transition from survey and design phases into implementation, ensuring all findings and recommendations are incorporated into project plans and field execution.
  • Enforce adherence to local, federal and military standards. Maintain documentation, field logs, and classified progress reports.
  • Oversee project execution from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with project milestones, budgets, and federal security protocols.
