About The Position

The Privacy Analyst position is a dedicated FedRAMP/GovRAMP resource responsible for ensuring privacy compliance and oversight within the PSIGov environment in accordance with federal and regulatory requirements. This position is required to support the IRS go-live, the FAA migration into PSIGov, and ongoing privacy obligations associated with FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring activities. The role must be filled by a U.S. citizen to meet IRS requirements, including successfully completing an IRS background check, and cannot be supported by existing PSI or ETS resources, as those roles are currently staffed by foreign national. The Privacy Analyst oversees privacy control implementation, supports data mapping and privacy impact assessments, and manages privacy incidents and data subject requests. This role reduces privacy, compliance, and audit risk while ensuring PSI maintains a compliant and defensible privacy posture across its federal programs. This is a full time, permanent position, Monday to Friday with flexible hours around a standard 0800-1700. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel to offices and test centres globally to support with audits.

Requirements

  • 2+ year expertise in a Data Privacy Role
  • Experience with federal contracts and federal contracting terminology
  • Experience with federal contractor security controls
  • Experience with federal agency procurement offices and contracting officers
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its recent overhaul (These are the guidelines that govern federal contracting for services and supplies)
  • Ability to obtain a federal public trust security clearance (this is currently specific to IRS, but could also apply to future federal clients)
  • Good technical writing skills and proven history of working on contracts and client projects.
  • Experience in working on Data Processing Agreements, Security Questionnaires, Security Due Diligence and client requirements.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining business processes.
  • Operational experience of Privacy breach incidents.
  • Data Privacy qualifications or similar.
  • Have been a key team member in building a Data Privacy Program, ISO 27001 certification, SOC II Type 2.
  • Experience working alongside a Legal Team.
  • Consultancy experience and/or demonstratable experience of providing support to various teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring and maintaining the Company’s compliance with regulatory and other legal requirements in relation to Data Privacy and Data Protection.
  • Developing awareness and training resources.
  • Support building and maintaining privacy standards such as CCPA/GDPR, SOCII and ISO27701, among others.
  • Serve as a Privacy SME within projects when required.
  • Be a Privacy and Compliance Champion in promoting and developing awareness of different privacy, security and compliance risks and best practices across the company.
  • Support management of US based privacy regulations, FERPA, HIPPA, and CCPA.
  • Support the maintenance of a global data privacy program, standards and other regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct and maintain a Data privacy program, including: Data Mapping DPIAs Privacy Audits Privacy Incident Response Privacy by Design
  • Support the development of a high quality, international group, information security and compliance function supporting business to business services and consumer.
  • Provide insight into current and new Data Privacy Regulations.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the providers of any outsourced contracts for services such as Penetration testing and other specialist security related consultancy services.
  • Support the team in maintaining compliance with the Data Protection Regulations and Security Standards.
