About The Position

Our Inside Federal Inside Account Executive begin their career at Insight with extensive, paid training so they can design customized, cost effective technology solutions for their customers. The Federal Inside Account Executive create and build consultative, long-term relationships with DoD/Government customers nationwide. You build and manage your own business selling software, hardware and professional services to DoD clients of all size across the country. Utilizing proven sales methods to prospect and identify new clients Building a book of business through outbound phone sales/cold calls Communicating Insight’s value proposition to key decision makers within the client organization Developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships with OEM partners and distributors including HP, Cisco, Dell, VMWare, Lenovo, Google, Microsoft and more Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience selling technology services and solutions to the federal marketplace
  • Strong preference of selling at least one of the following product lines: HP, Cisco, Dell, VMWare, Lenovo, Google or AWS
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
  • High energy, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and competitive drive to surpass goals and succeed

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing proven sales methods to prospect and identify new clients
  • Building a book of business through outbound phone sales/cold calls
  • Communicating Insight’s value proposition to key decision makers within the client organization
  • Developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships with OEM partners and distributors including HP, Cisco, Dell, VMWare, Lenovo, Google, Microsoft and more
