About The Position
This role involves processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for the US Air Force. The specialist will utilize eFOIA, FOIA Xpress, and Microsoft Office software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a thorough understanding of the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act of 1974.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience processing Freedom of Information requests at the base level.
- Familiarity with the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act of 1974.
- eFOIA, FOIA Xpress, and Microsoft Office software experience.
- Ability to communicate well both written (clear concise, well organized) and verbally (express clearly and succinctly).
- Secret clearance required.
Nice To Haves
- Command level experience processing Freedom of Information requests preferred.
