Jr. Federal Financial Management Consultant
About The Position
Lynch Consultants is seeking a Staff Consultant with a solid understanding of DoD Financial Systems to support the Defense Logistics Agency on the G-Invoicing project. The role involves ensuring proper execution of project tasks according to client requirements, meeting with clients to understand and fulfill their needs, and managing communication effectively. The consultant will support delivery by following instructions from senior consultants and/or the manager. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC).
- 3 years of work experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or a related role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing consulting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with GINV and/or Federal Government ERP systems.
- Experience with FIAR/audit readiness within the Federal Government.
- Data visualization using Power BI or other data visualization platforms.
- Understanding of Reimbursable intergovernmental transactions.
- Experience developing training materials.
- Experience in a user help desk role.
- Active Public Trust clearance.
