About The Position

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a Part-Time Custodial Cleaner to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This position is available to people with a documented disability as required to meet federal contract compliance requirements. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of indoor and outdoor work environments. Responsibilities include custodial cleaning, grounds maintenance, seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow clearing, waste and recycling collection, restroom cleaning and restocking, floor care, window cleaning, and general upkeep of assigned areas. The Custodial Cleaner will also safely operate and maintain equipment, follow established safety procedures, and communicate any concerns or maintenance needs to their supervisor. Requirements

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
Experience in grounds maintenance
Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, instructions, and material safety data sheets
Ability to write simple reports and communicate clearly with coworkers, customers, and supervisors
Regular standing and walking
Frequent use of hands and arms
Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
