AEP is seeking a Federal Compliance Program Consultant to support procurement compliance across U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) loan agreements. In this role, you will serve as the program owner and subject matter expert for Cargo Preference Act (CPA) compliance and federal contract flow-down requirements. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance processes that ensure material purchases, vendor contracts, prime contractors and subcontractors meet applicable DOE loan agreement requirements, and ensuring reporting activities align with applicable federal requirements and loan agreement obligations. You will collaborate across procurement, supply chain, engineering, construction, finance, and project management teams to build, implement, and continuously improve compliance programs that support federally financed energy infrastructure projects. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with DOE loan agreement requirements, supporting audit readiness, reducing risk, and helping AEP remain eligible for federal financing programs. The position supports a portfolio of eight DOE EDF loan agreements and may be filled at the Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Principal Consultant level based on experience and qualifications.
