About The Position

Constellation is seeking a Federal Business Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security’s law enforcement mission in Washington, DC. The Analyst will analyze operational and performance data, evaluate business processes, develop dashboards and reports, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for government leadership. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced federal consulting environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • 4+ years proven experience as a government consultant or support contractor collecting, analyzing, preparing, and presenting data to senior government leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and for our client understanding their needs and work in a face paced dynamic environment
  • Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency.

Nice To Haves

  • DHS clearance with CBP/ICE, or DoD Top-Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational, performance, and program data from multiple sources.
  • Develop analytical methodologies, KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions with government stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and challenges.
  • Document business processes, requirements, workflows, SOPs, and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and performance against established objectives.
  • Maintain program trackers, action-item logs, and organizational requests.
  • Support program leadership with meeting preparation, agendas, minutes, briefings, and follow-up actions.
  • Develop executive-level reports, briefing presentations, one-pagers, fact sheets, and other program deliverables.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior government leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear written and visual communications based on analytical findings.
