About The Position

We are looking for a Federal Benefits Specialist to join an Arizona state agency in Phoenix. This is a full time on-site contract role running through November 2026. Responsibilities include processing federal benefits documentation, working with a team on identity verification and claims, and managing case files with attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, benefits administration, or government agency work
  • Experience processing claims, applications, or government documents
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to work on-site daily in Phoenix AZ 85012
