Feature Lead - Web Application Development
About The Position
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies. This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team belonging to an award winning technology platforms like myCTO and its expansions like Reliability Engineering Data Intelligence (REDI). A GenAI initiative focused on automating and improving production support (Reliability Engineering) processes in APS&E, including helping identify root cause, platform restoral, and creating related documentation.
Requirements
- 7 Years of Full Stack Java/Python Development
- Hands on software development on Agile setting with an industry standard DevOps practices
- 5-7 Years applying SDLC standards for design, coding and quality
- 5-7 Years of IT experience in analyzing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE technologies
- Extensive experience in Core Java, J2EE, Angular, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Micro Services, RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL (Mango DB)
- Proficient with writing complex and tuned SQL queries
- Good knowledge of various Java/J2EE Architecture Frameworks and their implementation
- Designs, develops and is accountable for a scrum team delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner and scrum master to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
