About The Position

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.
The Feature Lead – Technology (Workday) is a senior techno-functional leader responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Workday solutions across HCM domains. This role provides hands-on technical leadership across configuration, Workday Extend, integrations, reporting, security, and platform architecture while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business and enterprise technology objectives.
The ideal candidate combines deep Workday expertise with strong delivery ownership, stakeholder partnership, governance, and roadmap execution to drive platform innovation, operational excellence, and business value.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Workday HCM experience.
• Expertise in Workday Core HCM and at least two additional domains such as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Time Tracking, or Talent Management.
• Strong experience with Workday configuration, business processes, security, integrations, reporting, tenant management, testing, and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend application development and support.
• Knowledge of Workday APIs, EIBs, reporting, data sources, business objects, integration security, and Workday architecture.
• Experience operating in Agile delivery environments and highly controlled enterprise environments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Workday Pro and/or Workday Certifications.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Workday environments.
• Knowledge of VNDLY and contingent workforce solutions.
• Experience with roadmap planning, release adoption, platform modernization, and technical debt reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership, delivery accountability, and solution oversight for Workday technology capabilities.
• Working closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams, this role is responsible for translating business needs into scalable technology solutions while ensuring platform stability, security, and alignment with Workday best practices.
• Owns the full lifecycle of Workday feature delivery—from requirements and solution design through deployment and production support—and plays a key role in platform modernization, release adoption, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement.
