Requirements

  • PSM Licensure
  • 8 years of experience in Land Surveying.
  • Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer
  • Prior experience with roadway projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others

Nice To Haves

  • FDOT experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications
  • Plan, scheduled conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or a total project of moderate scope
  • Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features
  • Direct conversations with clients at the beginning, during, and end of projects
  • Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments
  • Seal professional surveying documents
  • Other duties as assigned
