This role is responsible for overseeing the Financial Crimes risk assessment program, ensuring its effectiveness in reporting the Bank's financial crimes risk profile to Management and the Board. The position involves enhancing risk assessment methodologies to align with evolving regulatory expectations, leading the identification and use of critical data for quantitative risk assessments, and developing and executing annual AML and Sanctions risk assessment plans. The lead will also liaise with regulators and auditors, analyze business processes and controls, and generate reporting and risk dashboards. A key aspect of the role is reviewing new products, services, markets, or geographies for associated risks and advising on tools and solutions for risk management and compliance.
