About The Position

A Forklift Driver, Fulfillment is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of cases within a distribution facility using powered industrial equipment. The work includes physical handling and electronic tracking of inventory while meeting safety and productivity standards.

The role requires operating powered industrial trucks, moving cases physically and electronically throughout the facility, and using RF scanners to track inventory and case movement. The driver follows safety protocols, meets productivity and accuracy goals, communicates with supervisors and teammates, and assists other departments as needed to support operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts, such as turret trucks or cherry pickers.
• Demonstrated ability to meet productivity and accuracy goals in a warehouse or fulfillment setting.
• Proven track record of following safety procedures and reporting incidents appropriately.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and RF scanning technology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Reliable and adaptable to changing work environments.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Eligible to work in the United States; Cart.com does not provide visa sponsorship or transfers.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous forklift certification.
• Experience working in a high-volume fulfillment or distribution center.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks, such as ride-behind jacks, sit-down reach trucks, and high-reach trucks.
• Move cases physically and electronically throughout the facility.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and case movement.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and timely incident reporting.
• Consistently meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Assist other departments as needed to support operational flow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
