About The Position

The FAST Service Specialist at Opensity Solutions is a client-facing workplace services professional responsible for delivering integrated support across mail, copy, reception, hospitality, and facilities functions. This role ensures smooth daily operations within client office environments by providing high-quality administrative and workplace support services. The position may support multiple client sites within a defined geographic market and requires flexibility, professionalism, and strong customer service skills. FAST Service Specialist will be need to be available to work 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m and travel to Providence RI when needed. This role is classified as non-exempt.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality, workplace services, facilities support, or administrative support roles preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with office equipment (printers, copiers, scanners) and familiarity with workplace service systems or ticketing tools is preferred.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs; ability to push/pull carts up to 75 lbs; ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mail services including metering, sorting, tracking, and distributing mail and accountable packages according to established schedules.
  • Provide copy, print, and scan services accurately based on written instructions and client requests.
  • Support reception services by answering incoming calls, routing inquiries appropriately, and greeting visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Deliver hospitality services including conference room setup, cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining common areas and kitchens.
  • Ensure meeting rooms, kitchens, and shared spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for continuous use.
  • Manage inventory and distribution of kitchen and office supplies, including ordering replenishments as needed.
  • Support floor coordination activities such as stocking copy rooms, delivering paper and supplies, and performing basic daily maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with general facilities support including small office moves, hanging items, cleaning support, and workspace adjustments.
  • Communicate with client contacts regarding facility-related issues, equipment concerns, and service needs.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality across all workplace service functions.
  • Provide flexible coverage across shifts, schedules, and locations to support operational needs, absences, and vacations.
  • Support continuous improvement of workplace services by identifying service gaps and escalating issues as needed.
