FAST FOOD FOOD SERVICE (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Prepares, presents, and serves food in a fast-food or casual setting. The role includes greeting guests, taking and relaying orders, understanding menu items and ingredients, coordinating with back-of-house staff to fulfill orders and special requests, resolving customer concerns, cooking fast-food items according to food-safety standards, and keeping work areas and facilities clean. It also performs sales transactions and is responsible for assigned change, funds, and cash receipts. Other duties may be assigned. The position is at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Pay is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. - Prior fast-food experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly.
- Take food orders and efficiently relay them to back-of-house staff.
- Demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients.
- Coordinate with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
- Interact with customers, resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Cook fast-food items in compliance with safety and safe food-handling standards.
- Perform light cleaning, including sweeping and mopping, to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
- Keep equipment, work areas, and facilities clean and orderly.
- Perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely manner, ring all items sold, and obtain customer signatures.
- Manage assigned change, funds, and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer is in compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
