About The Position

BOLD Magazine is looking for a Fashion Correspondent in New York City to contribute to our upcoming edition and help us build a strong presence in the city's fashion and creative scene. We're looking for someone who is deeply curious about fashion, culture and the people shaping what comes next.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of New York's fashion and creative scene
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• A strong editorial eye and point of view
• Comfortable approaching and interviewing people
• Ability to find interesting stories independently

Nice To Haves

• Existing relationships within fashion, media or creative communities are a plus
• Previous journalism, editorial, fashion media or content experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Cover fashion events, launches, exhibitions and industry moments across NYC
• Discover and profile emerging designers, models, stylists, photographers and creative talent
• Interview interesting people in the fashion and creative industries
• Write original stories, features and city dispatches
• Pitch story ideas to the BOLD editorial team
• Attend relevant events and report from the ground
• Build relationships with designers, brands, creatives and PR teams
• Contribute photography, images or short-form content when relevant
• Identify stories that deserve attention before they become mainstream
