About The Position

This role is responsible for supervising and developing hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring them. The Fashion Coach will assign duties, set clear expectations, provide recognition, and consistently communicate expectations to foster a sense of belonging. They will also recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential. The position involves coordinating and completing job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. The Fashion Coach will lead and develop teams effectively through teaching, training, and active listening, providing feedback, and communicating business objectives. They will also model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, manage customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs are resolved. Compliance with company policies and procedures, and upholding company values and ethics are crucial. The role drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets and expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Requirements

  • 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

  • Provides feedback (Tour-to Teach) and communicates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts and provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives.
  • Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
  • Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements.
  • Manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
  • Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
