About The Position

Working as a Fashion Associate at Walmart Canada is an opportunity to develop skills in the retail industry. This role focuses on customer service, processing and stocking fashion merchandise, and maintaining merchandise standards, including modular and signage integrity, all within a safe and clean environment. The Associate works as part of a team to plan and execute daily tasks and seasonal arrangements. Key duties include providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product promotion, locating merchandise, making purchase decisions, and resolving issues. The role also involves contributing to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring secure displays. Additional responsibilities include processing and stocking all fashion merchandise, maintaining a clean salesfloor, merchandising non-modular fashion items, ensuring proper use of fixtures and supplies, using correct signage, and timely replenishment and merchandising of seasonal items.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists customers by promotion products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Processes and stocking all fashion merchandise.
• Keeps the salesfloor area clean and tidy for the customer.
• Merchandises non-modular fashion items.
• Ensuring proper fixtures and supplies are used and replaced if necessary.
• Uses proper signage as the modular dictates.
• Replenishes and merchandises seasonal merchandise in a timely manner.
