About The Position
As a Farmstand Associate, you will provide daily support and customer service to customers visiting the Farm Stand to purchase produce, participate in U-Pick activities, and experience a local farm. This role requires ensuring excellence in customer service, product quality, and workplace culture. You will contribute to a Christ-centered mission by fostering hospitality, stewardship, and integrity, which includes greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with loading purchases.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks and smoothies (hot, iced, and blended)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Communicate re-stocking needs to your manager
- Follow opening and closing procedures
- Engage in seamless and friendly customer service with an emphasis and speed and quality
- Smile and greet customers, welcoming and build relationships where possible and appropriate
- Clean and organize the Farm Stand
- Maintain appropriate highway and roadside signage
- Reference the checklists and complete them
- Maintain stock of quality items, sorting and discarding inferior product
