Farm Supply Routing Coordinator - EverGro - Orange, VA
About The Position
Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating routes and deliveries for Farm Store operations, across all five locations. Ensure the orders are entered into the system accurately and promptly to avoid miscommunications or delays. Assign drivers with daily routing and other tasks as needed related to customer deliveries, intercompany transfers, vehicle maintenance, etc. This will entail being knowledgeable of customer locations and effectively routing drivers to accomplish set deliveries in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to utilize maps to efficiently plan out routes to limit disruption and added work. Train and become efficient utilizing routing software. Maintain constant communication with the Farm Store Operations Manager related to any discrepancies with deliveries or customer concerns. Responsible for coordinating with Farm Store Managers and leaders to ensure proper product and correct quantities are being transported to the right location, aligned with stock management and quantity guidelines set by management.
Requirements
- Ability to utilize routing software or maps to efficiently plan driver’s delivery routes
- Able and willing to assist with deliveries when needed
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience planning delivery routes/logistic experience
- Previous experience working within Cooperative/Farm Store industry preferably within a logistics capability
