About The Position

EverGRO is hiring a part-time Farm Store Associate in Upperville to support customers and keep the store running smoothly during busy hours. You will be working for a company rooted in the cooperative world, with history dating back to 1933, operating in the divisions of Agronomy, Energy, Animal Health and Farm Supplies. EverGRO Cooperative is built on the relationships we grow with our customers, without their support, business, and loyalty we would not be the successful Coop we are today!

Requirements

No previous experience required
Willing and able to operate a forklift, lift product, and work indoors and outdoors
Valid Driver’s License
Availability to work 3–4 days/week during store hours; preference for closing shifts and rotating Saturdays

Nice To Haves

Agriculture interests (horses, cattle, gardening, plants, small animals) are a plus

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product questions and solutions
Run the register and handle checkout, exchanges, and returns
Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory counts
Load/unload deliveries and customer purchases; operate a forklift as needed
Fill propane cylinders
Maintain a clean, professional, and safe store/warehouse
Greet regulars, answer quick questions, and keep product faced and organized
Move between the counter and the loading area, switching gears as customers need help getting feed, fencing, or supplies to their vehicles
Check stock levels, straighten high-traffic areas, and keeping walkways clear
Resetting the store, tidying the warehouse, and making sure the next day starts clean and safe
