The position also includes monitoring equipment, performing minor repairs, checking generators, observing flock behavior, ensuring feed and water accessibility, and reporting various metrics daily and weekly. Additionally, the Farm Operator assists vaccination crews, accompanies management during farm visits, and ensures farms are prepared for new flocks. The role emphasizes teamwork, fostering cohesiveness, and supporting team objectives. Operators are expected to understand and uphold Simmons' operating systems principles and contribute to business objectives through other duties as necessary.
