About The Position

About Us: Regenerative California is a pioneering nonprofit dedicated to transforming California into a regenerative economy through a place-based strategy piloting in Monterey County. Our work starts in Salinas, where we are one year into creating a flagship regenerative farm, called Regenerate 68! We have a total of 68 acres, with 56 farmable acres, 44 of which are leased to subtenants and 12 of which are farmed directly by Regenerative California. The 12 acres are in early stages. We are aiming to demonstrate the economic opportunity of regenerative farming in the region by developing a business model that engages a wide range of partners—from schools and restaurants to consumer brands. We grow crops to serve these partners and our local community. Our vision extends beyond growing and selling healthy, nutrient-dense food. We aim to regenerate the soil, enhance biodiversity, and promote ecological balance, setting a new standard for regenerative farming. This farm will one day be a hands-on learning environment for students and a hub for collaboration and innovation within the local agricultural community. Our approach is rooted in continuous learning, adaptability, and collaboration, building a thriving ecosystem and a scalable model that can extend statewide to drive meaningful change. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Farm Manager to lead the 12 acres of farmland, from inception to full operation. If you are inspired by the opportunity to shape the future of farming and build a model farm and playbook to inspire others, this role is for you! Job Summary: The Regenerate 68! Farm Manager will be responsible for the setup, planning, management and stewardship of the land and regenerative farm. This role requires a deep understanding of regenerative, organic agriculture principles, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of farm operations (including business admin; finances; managing the physical farm; managing sales relationships and logistics).
