Country View Family Farms is seeking motivated leaders to join their growing swine production team. They have opportunities for Sow Farm Managers and Finishing Services Managers supporting operations across Pennsylvania and Indiana. The Sow Farm Manager will lead a large-scale sow production operation, overseeing farm performance, animal care, employee development, and operational success. This role involves managing daily farm operations, monitoring production metrics, supporting herd health, and collaborating with HR on hiring and team development. Responsibilities include maintaining biosecurity, regulatory compliance, inventory management, budgeting, business planning, and operational excellence. The Finishing Services Manager will support the performance and success of swine finishing operations, working closely with production partners and internal teams to drive results in animal health, production performance, biosecurity, and operational excellence. This role involves building relationships with producers, providing hands-on support, monitoring production performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous livestock production or management experience (swine experience preferred).
  • Education or relevant experience in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Livestock Production, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make real-time decisions and drive improvements.
  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build strong relationships with employees, producers, and cross-functional partners.
  • The ability to thrive in an agricultural production environment and work hands-on when needed.
  • A commitment to ethical animal care, biosecurity, safety, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a large-scale sow production operation, overseeing farm performance, animal care, employee development, and operational success.
  • Provide leadership to a large team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve production, quality, and animal welfare goals.
  • Manage daily farm operations, monitor key production metrics, support herd health initiatives, and partner with production and animal health teams to drive results.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring and team development.
  • Maintain biosecurity, regulatory compliance, inventory management, budgeting, business planning, and operational excellence across the farm.
  • Support the performance and success of swine finishing operations.
  • Work closely with production partners and internal teams to help drive strong results in animal health, production performance, biosecurity, and overall operational excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with producers, provide hands-on support and guidance, monitor production performance, and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Make a direct impact across finishing operations while helping producers and team members achieve shared production, animal care, and business goals.
